5 Ways to Upgrade Your Bathroom

upgrade your bathroom

Your bathroom doesn’t have to be dated, stuffy, or old. Instead, you can design your bathroom so that it excites you to get ready in the morning and treats you to an at-home spa day on your day off. If you are looking to upgrade your bathroom, here are the five best ways to do it:

1. Add Textiles

Many bathrooms look dated, uncomfortable, and cold. Make your bathroom look cozy and inviting by incorporating textiles. You can use textiles as a rug, shower curtain, or wall decoration. These add texture and color to the room, and they are relatively inexpensive. One of the best parts about textiles is that they will be easy to change out if your mood changes. In the winter, you might opt for a blue textile, but you might want to select a red or yellow one in the summer instead. This makes it a great choice if you are redoing your bathroom on a regular basis.

2. Look At the Shower

A plastic shower curtain should be left in your college dorm or first home. Upgrade your bathroom by adding shower glass to your bathroom. This will make your bathroom look much more sophisticated. According to a shower glass MA store, shower glasses are a bigger expense, but it will last you many years. Not to mention, it’s something that really never goes out of style. Anyone will love it.

3. Add Tilework

Most people don’t think of their bathroom as a place to show off art. You don’t want the water or humidity to damage the art, but you should definitely consider showing off different ideas and creativity. Tilework is a great option for your bathroom for this reason. You can use tilework as a backsplash behind your mirror, or you can make simple designs with it. Either way, tilework can add a pop of color to any bathroom. The best part is that it won’t get damaged.

4. Add Fragrance

What most people forget to do is to address the quality of smell in a bathroom. Usually, people tend to settle for generic products such as the ones you get from the grocery. In this article, we will try to level up your experience and recommend products like Devon Wick. Adding wax melts, scented candles, and other sprays will be the icing on the cake of your bathroom upgrades.

5. Choose a New Mirror

Mirrors help you beautify yourself every day. View your bathroom renovation as a time to reflect on your own beauty by choosing a new mirror. Select a mirror that gets you excited to look in the mirror and get yourself ready for the day. Many modern mirrors come in different metal finishes, shapes, and colors. You can even try to make the mirror the focal point of the bathroom, which in turn makes you the focal point too!

Endnote

There are many ways that you can renovate your bathroom without spending a fortune. By simply swapping your mirror or adding a stool, you can bring your bathroom to the 21st century. For a more long-lasting option, choose shower glass to make your bathroom look more sophisticated, now and in the future.
