6 Tips That Guarantee a Clean House

With kids, pets, visitors, and other family members, it can be extremely difficult to keep a house clean. Maintaining a tidy home is a commitment that requires much time and effort. However, it is well worth it to have spotless surroundings that make you proud of your home. With these tips, you’ll find it much easier to make your space get clean and stay clean.

1. Use High-Quality Cleaning Equipment

For your home, it’s best to invest in long-lasting appliances rather than appliances from a thrift store that won’t last as long. The longevity of your appliance ensures your home itself will stay clean for longer.

Buying from top-notch brands like Karcher will ensure you have long-lasting equipment that is extremely effective. Products like pressure washers make it easy to clean the exterior of your house with ease. Deep cleaners for the floor are also beneficial to use regularly to make sure germs, dirt, and other unwanted materials aren’t present in your home.

2. Clean with Microfiber Products

Microfiber cloths are great for dusting and other tasks because of their electrostatic charge. Unlike regular dusters that just spread dust, the microfiber material absorbs the dust. These awesome towels can be used as many times as you want since they are machine-washable and very sturdy. They’re also great for polishing surfaces!

3. Purify the Air

Though you may not see it, there is a lot of dust lurking in the air around you. To get rid of the annoying dust, put air purifiers in the most used rooms, like living rooms and bathrooms. The purifiers will capture dust before it gets a chance to settle.

Remember to also keep the humidity in your house to between 40 and 50 percent. This optimal humidity level helps to reduce the build-up of dust in your home.

4. Use Dryer Sheets

Though some people think dryer sheets are best left to the dryer, these magical sheets have cleaning powers as well. You can use them to clean dusty baseboards and even pans!

After letting your pan soak with dish soap and water, pour out the water, and then wipe the pan with a dryer sheet to make the mess disappear. Dryer sheets are also perfect for getting rid of lint.

5. Don’t Use a Traditional Mop

The original mops that have to be dunked in water and squeezed are outdated, and quite frankly, unsanitary. When these mops are wet, they create bacteria that can never be thoroughly cleaned. This gross fact is the reason why machine washable mops were created. Use your mop until the pad is dirty and then wash it. This is a much cleaner and safer way to perfect your floor.

6. Disinfect Your Sponges

Since sponges are used to clean, dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and even countertops, they can get really nasty. It is best to disinfect your sponges to prevent bacteria from growing and spreading. To disinfect, dampen the sponge and put it in the microwave for 90 seconds. Using this technique, you can reduce the amount of bacterial contamination on the sponge by up to 99 percent.

A Clean House, Guaranteed

Just because there are so many nooks, crannies, and rooms in every house, that doesn’t mean cleaning has to be hard. Using high-quality equipment to clean, microfiber products, and even helpful appliances like purifiers, you can reduce the bacteria and dust in your house by a lot. Remember, home is where you spend a lot of your time, so you don’t want to risk getting sick by simply breathing in the air or using the wrong mop.
