9 Tips for Choosing the Perfect Bathroom Tiles: How To Find The Right Design

9 Tips for Choosing the Perfect Bathroom Tiles: How To Find The Right Design

Decorating your bathroom can be a daunting task. There are so many tiles to choose from, and all of them have their own unique design or color that is perfect for your bathroom. Choosing the right bathroom tiles can make all the difference in how much you enjoy yourself when you’re relaxing in your bathroom. In this blog post, we will discuss 9 tips on how to find the perfect bathroom tiles for any home!

Tip #1:

Determine which bathroom tiles are best for your bathroom. Do you want ceramic, stone, or porcelain? Ceramic is the most popular tile because it’s durable and easy to clean. Stone bathroom tiles can be slippery when wet (yikes!), but they offer a unique look that not many other bathroom tiles have to offer! Porcelain bathroom tiles are great if you’re looking for an affordable option; however, they do tend to scratch easily, so make sure you put them in areas where no one will step on them!

Tip #2:

Don’t pick out bathroom flooring before picking out perfect wall coverings. You may think matching colors would work well together, but this isn’t always true since there should also be some contrast between bathroom tiles. It’s best to have a lighter color bathroom tile on the walls to create an illusion of depth and make your bathroom look bigger! You can learn other design tips from Standard Tile, amongst other resources, for example, they have a useful design guide on how to install floor-to-ceiling bathroom tile.

Tip #3:

Don’t be afraid to mix different types or colors of bathroom tiles together. This is becoming more popular in bathrooms because you can create really unique designs with different bathroom tiles by mixing contrasting shapes/colors together. An example would be using rectangular-shaped white bathroom tiles and fun blue mosaic-patterned bathroom wall coverings! Mixing up the perfect tiling for your home will make all the difference in how beautiful your space looks!

Tip #4:

Ask yourself if you want random-sized bathroom flooring, uniform-size bathroom floor tiles, or bathroom tiles that match the size of your bathroom walls. Random-sized bathroom flooring is a great choice if you like to take risks and want something unique compared to everyone else! Uniform bathroom tile sizes are perfect for any home, but make sure it’s not too boring; we recommend varying up the shapes or colors so that your space doesn’t feel one-dimensional. If you’re looking for bathroom wall coverings that perfectly match the size of your bathroom walls, then having uniform bathroom tiles will work best since they all come in standard sizes!

Tip #5:

How much time do you have available when choosing which bathroom tiles? The more time and effort put into finding perfect bathroom tiles for your home, the better off you’ll be in terms of finding bathroom tiles that fit your bathroom space perfectly. It’s best to go for bathroom tiles that you love the most, even if it takes more time than expected! However, if you’re on a tight budget or don’t have much spare time then finding bathroom wall coverings should be quick and painless so you can still enjoy yourself when relaxing in your bathroom!

Tip #6:

Don’t forget about choosing the perfect grout for your bathroom tiling. You want to make sure that there is enough contrast between your tile color and your grout color because this will help balance out all of the different colors together better. Another way to give off the illusion of depth is by using light-colored grouts since they tend to recede into the bathroom wall and make everything look more dimensional.

Tip #7:

Make sure bathroom tiles are waterproof! This is the most important tip to keep in mind when choosing bathroom tiles because if any water or liquid gets underneath your bathroom tiles, then they will definitely cause some damage to your flooring (eek!). Waterproof bathroom tiles can be expensive but it’s well worth it since you won’t have to worry about costly repairs down the line!

Tip #8:

Don’t forget that bathroom tiling doesn’t necessarily need to match perfectly with other bathrooms in terms of style. If your home is one-of-a-kind, then why should your bathroom tile? It’s best to choose bathroom wall coverings that fit within whatever theme/style you have going on in your bathroom, instead of trying to fit into a specific style (e.g., traditional bathroom tiles or modern bathroom tiling). If you like the way your bathroom looks now then don’t be afraid to keep it that way!

Tip #9:

Which bathroom tile will work best for any future renovations? It’s always smart to choose bathroom tiles that are easy to replace and cost-effective since this type of flooring is usually used as an accent feature rather than the main focal point of your room. We wouldn’t want anything happening down the line which requires us to rip up our entire bathroom space just because we chose something too expensive/important to replace!
