My cats are feeling special after getting a KitNipBox in the mail. KitNipBox is a subscription box service especially for cats. I’d always been curious about it so I got a box to review. I appreciate KitNipBox agreeing to partner with me for this post by providing a sample box for my review.

KitNip Box Opening
I have two cats. Patches is my 16 year old. She’s crazy for any catnip toys. Tabby is my 5 year old old. Her favorite toys are balls and stick-shape toys. She also likes teaser toys. They both like treats. Tabby has learned to tap on the treat container when she wants one. I’m not sure who’s been trained: me or her! When the KitNip Box arrived, I got both kitties with me and we opened the box together. They were as excited as I was.
Patches immediately started digging around and sniffing the toys in box. Tabby, always more cautious, watched curiously at the side.
As you might tell in photo, Tabby is careful around her older sister. Patches has never completely grow to love her younger sister. She’s the boss. But Tabby couldn’t resist checking out what her sister was doing with the interesting box.
Soon after, Patches was going nuts over the gingerbread boy. I didn’t have a chance to take the cardboard back off it before she was chewing and licking the toy. There is also a cute reindeer toy and colorful mouse, both with catnip, also. Plus there was a feather teaser, a winter theme cylinder shaped toy, a Christmas tree-shaped wobbly toy and a bag of natural treats. 6 toys in all!
Tabby likes the teaser best. She’s not crazy of over catnip like Patches. But, I have spotted her enjoying the tree-shape wobbly toy and the colorful mouse, too. She tends to play more when no one is watching, unless we’re playing with her.
Over all, I was very pleased with the items we got in our KitNipBox. All the items were quality-made. As nice or nicer than you’d see in a pet store. The kitties really like the Turkey & Cranberry flavor treats. The price is very reasonable. If I had gone to the store to purchase similar toys, I would have spent more. They have two box sizes to choose from: 5 treats or 7 treats.
I think it’s good to have a variety of toys for cats. We have a toy basket filled with toys we’ve gotten our kitties over the years. I switch out their toys periodically because they seem to get bored with them after while. They have some favorites so I make sure to keep at least one favorite out.
Patches is definitely been enjoying her new toys. She even uses the reindeer toy as a pillow and snuggles on the gingerbread boy. I tucked the teaser stick behind the couch cushion so Tabby can play with herself or have it nearby to play with her when we’re in living room watch tv. I can see us ordering more KitNipBoxes delivered in the future!
