Hi y’all! I can’t contain my excitement any longer about the exciting news at Prim Mart. I first became a part of the Prim Mart community over 10 years ago. Over the years I’ve met many talented and wonderful crafters and country primitive fans. Never did I think I would have the priviledge to make this announcement. I am the new owner of Prim Mart and its affiliated sites.
A Little Prim Mart History
Prim Mart was first established in 2001 in association with a the hosting company, DiyEstores. The hosting company stayed with its original owner until its closing last year. Prim Mart has continued on with a couple different owners, Sheila and Anne. Recently, Anne felt it was time to sell Prim Mart back over to Sheila.
But being a busy blogger with Living Smart Girl, Sheila was thoughtful enough to offer to sell Prim Mart to me. She must have known from my past helping both her and Anne with Prim Mart. Also, my experience in the craft and blog business that I would love to become the new owner! Learn more me on our information page.
The overall vision I have for Prim Mart is to bring in the love of the past into the 21st century. Prim Mart will still feature the heartwarming country primitive handmades is always has been known for. In addition that, I’ll be introducing a mix of farmhouse, country modern, and cottage chic decorating.
Prim Mart will embrace the lifestyle of those who love these styles in their home with craft tutorials, decor ideas, cooking, gardening, homemaking tips, and much more!
Rather than being mostly a place to advertise and shop at country primitive shops, the website will become an online magazine with new content added weekly. There will still be opportunities for advertising that will be updated to make the most of social media marketing and new fresh blog content added regularly.
In addition to the main website, you may or may not be aware of other websites/businesses that are part of Prim Mart.
These include EZ Shoppes, EZ Craft Show, The Pattern Patch, Honey Creek Marketplace, Country Road Crafts, and the Prim Mart Community Forum.
I am researching ways to open a new version of the shoppes, craft show, and pattern shops. The original sites were built with programing that became outdated. Therefore, I’m looking for a reliable, solid, and easy to use software that can be kept to up-to-date with changing technology.
The marketplace Honey Creek Marketplace and Country Road Crafts will be getting updated, also.
And finally, Prim Mart Community has been moved from a forum website to a FaceBook group. To join us, Click Here. And be sure to join our shopping mall group, too. Click Here to join our shopping group.
I very much look forward to sharing with you here!
