Fake fruit can be found at different craft stores. Willow bought hers at Joann's, for 10-25 cents on clearance.

I painted the pears brown, let dry, then brushed watered down mod podge on them (you could use Aileens glue too!).
Then shook each one in a plastic bag of spices-cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg & pumpkin spice.
Then the next day, I gave the pears 2 light coats of sealer.
While waiting for them to dry, I wrote my tag.
Then just arrange in a basket.
You can use the same idea on apples, carrots, etc.
