Top Tools to Use to Look After Your Skin

Top Tools to Use to Look After Your Skin

Skincare has come a long way from using sonic brushes and cold spoons in order to make your skin look and feel good. Gadgets that you used to pay hundreds of dollars for have been condensed and made accessible for the home meaning that there is no excuse not to have vibrant and bouncy skin. There is such an array of tools out there that you can use. Some have been funded by NASA whilst others use historically sound techniques. If you are looking for something new to brighten your skin, then here are a few ideas.

Gua Sha

A Gua Sha tool is a stone that resembles a flat pebble of jade. It can be used to chisel out cheekbones that have been hidden away, make your eyes look less puffy so you can hide that hangover from the office, and brighten your skin. It is based on an ancient healing technique first found in Chinese medicine in 220 CE. Over the years it has been adapted and changed into a gentle scraping technique that helps to eliminate bloating of the skin. Not only does it promote circulation but can also help you produce collagen which decreases puffiness and soften the lines of your face.

Cryo tools

These tools literally help you to chill out. Often these tools come in a variety of forms such as wands, masks, and rollers. The way they work is to harness the anti-inflammatory power of the cold and ice to soothe your stressed-out skin. This can help to reduce puffiness and to tighten up your pores which will increase the blood flow to the affected area. The result of this is that you should come out with a healthy glow. On top of all of this, these tools are fast acting and do not take long to incorporate into your routine.

LED tools

Many dermatologists and facial experts have become big fans of LED masks and wands to help calm their clients’ skin. They claim that this calms the skin and can help promote skin-regenerating properties which will keep your skin clear. Most of these devices use red light and blue light in a combo to do this. Red light reduces any inflammation whilst blue light can help reduce any acne that will build up on your skin.

Pore cleansers

The bane of everybody’s teenage years and for many their adult life is the blackheads, whiteheads, and vicious cysts that grow usually on the face. Before, you were often told just to leave them until they were ready to be popped. No longer. These days, you can utilize pore-cleansers that will deep clean your skin, eliminate bacteria and minimize inflammation which should keep those pests away.

Looking after your skin

Your skin goes through a lot on a daily basis, so it is only right that you take the time to look after it. Especially now that there are a variety of different tools out there that you can purchase for a reasonable price. If you look after your skin, it will look after you.
