Understanding the Side Effects of Biopolymer Injections

Understanding the Side Effects of Biopolymer Injections

Biopolymer injections or injectable silicones are widely used foreign materials to enhance different body parts. Procedures such as lips fillers, buttocks, breast implants, facial wrinkles removal, and cheekbone enhancement use laboratory-formulated silicone to enhance physical beauty and correct flaws.

However, silicone is not approved by the FDA to be used in cosmetic and surgical processes due to its side effects and harmful impact on the body over time.

Injectable silicone is especially harmful to your body as it can travel inside organs. It can lead to severe side effects, which, in some cases, can be deadly. Let us assess the possible side effects of biopolymers injections and strategies to deal with them.

Skin Reactions

Since biopolymers injections aim to alter the skin or muscle formation for an enhanced look, your skin may react negatively. As it is a foreign compound, your body may reject it, and you may not get the desired results. Instead, it may lead to soreness, swelling, rashes, sagging, skin hardening, burning, itching, or even skin loss.

Fortunately, there is a way around it. You can extract these foreign compounds from your body non-surgically and restore your natural health and wellness. Not only that, but you can also get the desired body altercation via non-surgical and safe procedures to enhance your features.

The removal of biopolymers injections via cool laser treatment is a non-invasive process. It is better to get the extraction sooner if you experience skin reactions after a cosmetic surgical procedure.

Disfigurement

Biopolymer injections can permanently disfigure the injected area or other body parts over time. It is because once injected, the silicone can travel to other parts of the body, altering its natural structure.

It can become difficult or even impossible to track traces of the silicone to extract it once it disfigures a body part by damaging the tissues. However, you can opt for a non-surgical or non-invasive procedure to restore the natural structure.

Alternatively, you can opt for silicone breast or buttocks implants instead of getting the injections. Since the implants remain outside the body to hold their shape and position, there is no harm. On the other hand, there is no surety of what the silicone will do once it enters your body.

Some people may opt for injections hoping for natural results instead of implants that may look unnatural. However, injections pose more dangers than implants in the long term. Therefore, choose implants instead of biopolymer injections to enhance body parts like the breasts or buttocks.

Health Problems

Many people who have undergone multiple surgical procedures involving biopolymer injections have reported difficulty breathing and recurring chest pain. It is due to the blocked blood vessels caused by the silicone inside the body. If the problem persists, it can lead to a stroke or brain damage. Its symptoms may include severe headaches, dizziness, weakness in limbs, and problems in speech.

People may experience severe health problems that cause hindrances in carrying out day-to-day tasks. Some may find it impossible to move due to poor neuron signals to the muscles or dizziness.

Therefore, it is better not to get too many procedures involving injectable silicone. A better way is to gather as much information as possible and assess the safety and health risks before signing up for a surgical procedure. The FDA specifically prohibits biopolymer injections for breast or buttocks enhancement. It is illegal and harmful to your health. Therefore, avoid getting procedures that involve injectable silicone.

Can Be Fatal

Possibly the worst kind of side effect of biopolymers is death. It is because the effect of silicone can go beyond just the injected body area. The blocked blood vessels can lead to a stroke or angina (chest pain), which can be fatal.

If you experience excruciating pain post a silicone cosmetic procedure long after the recovery phase, do not hesitate to take action. It can lead to serious injuries, which can cause death.

Most people may not pay much attention if the symptoms are gone shortly afterward. However, severe death-like symptoms may take days, weeks, or even years to re-emerge. However, by then, it may be too late to take action.

Therefore, do not wait for severe death-like consequences, and get the biopolymers removed from your body as soon as possible. The sooner you take action, the safer you will remain.

Temporary Results

Cosmetic procedures such as lip fillers, buttocks, and enhanced cheekbones often only show results for up to six months. After six months, you would have to undergo the procedure again.

Cosmetic surgical procedures typically cost a lot. Not many would be able to afford the procedure after every six months. Those who can know that the more you undergo the same procedure, the more silicone deposits there will be in the body. It will make extracting it that much harder.

Moreover, the results will be short-lived every time you undergo the process. Your lips may not remain plump for six months each time. The period may decline over time. That means getting the procedure done more often. The more you do it, the more chances you have of getting permanent scars, disfiguration, and other health problems. On top of that, it will cost you a fortune to get regular treatment.

Therefore, it is better to opt for FDA-approved dermal fillers made from materials the body can break down.

Conclusion

It is important to understand that biopolymer injections are not FDA- approved and are hazardous to health. Cosmetologists and surgeons who perform these treatments do so illegally. On top of that, they lead to severe side effects such as skin reactions, disfigurement, and health problems leading to death.

Moreover, these invasive procedures are costly and show temporary results. Therefore, if you have ever undergone a procedure involving injectable silicone, immediately consult a biopolymers removal professional to avoid long-term health disasters. They’ll give you a more comprehensive overview of the potential health hazards of biopolymer injections and your options for removing them.
